Anna Marie Ameen brings a great depth of telecommunications experience to our clients serving some of the largest wireless telecom companies since 1985.   Anna Marie joined ACC in 1995 as site development project manager and call center communications consultant.   She brought twelve years of communications experience to the company with an emphasis on personal communications services.  Most of her work focuses on expanding start-up operations or departments in to established organizations.  With a broad background in a range of technologies including cellular, PCS, special mobile radio (SMR), paging, voice messaging, and other communications services.   Anna Marie’s has experience in operations, network management, call center management, project management, customer service, billing, accounting, collections, marketing and inventory control.

From 1985 to 1988, Anna Marie worked as Motorola Engineering support running propagation studies in support of Radio Frequency Engineers.  She was promoted to the Special Mobile Radio (SMR) Systems Department Manager for Motorola, coordinating SMR programming for large private fleets as the company was awarded its first SMR licenses.   During this time the company’s owned or managed systems in the northeast grew from three to over 80.  This network later became the beginning of the Nextel system.

In 1988 Anna Marie moved to Hawaii as inventory control manager for the creation of RAM Paging Hawaii, a startup paging company.  She was quickly promoted to billing manager, then manager of operations and information systems.   Her responsibilities included the development and implementation of many of the operating procedures.

Anna Marie joined Positive Communications in 1993 a startup nationwide paging reseller company.  She developed the call center, customer service, billing and customer retention departments and their programs.   Within four months the subscribers grew from 600 to more than 8,000.

In 1994 her abilities to organize and develop customer support departments was recognized by CellularOne in San Francisco and she accepted a position to become the Manager of Customer Operations.    Expanding the department from thirty agents to over two hundred and achieving world class standards for the call center in less than one year.

She is currently the President and co-owner of ACC.   She has provided project management and site acquisition services to companies such as Voicestream (First PCS system on the air non-experimental Honolulu, HI), Santa Cruz Cellular, Cellular One, Omnipoint (as NY market start up), Sprint Spectrum PCS-NY, T-Mobile-Philadelphia MTA, AT&T fiber optics, MetroPCS, World Class Wireless (high frequency trader) and other companies.  She managed the necessary personnel to deliver large numbers of sites needed to bring PCS systems on air and become marketable.
